Why we start every class with breath
Two minutes of attention before the first movement changes the whole hour.
Most people arrive from somewhere: a desk, a school run, traffic. The breath is how we arrive here.
Three slow breaths
In through the nose for four, out for six. That is it. The exhale is where the nervous system lets go, so we make it longer than the inhale.
Try it at your desk. Nobody will notice, and the next email will feel smaller.
